                                                            Artist Information
Druid Hills Baptist Church is located at 1085 Ponce de Leon Ave. at the corners of Ponce de Leon & Highland Avenues. This is a prime location in the Virginia Highlands/Poncey Highlands neighborhoods. All artists will be set up on the front lawn, which has excellent visibility at this major in-town intersection.

Important Market Rules & Information:

• Admission fee is for a 10’ X 10’ space on the front lawn. Make checks payable to Druid Hills Baptist Church.
• Space is limited- first come/first served.
• All work to be sold in the Artist Market must be the artist’s original work.
• Two photographs must be submitted for each type of medium that the artist plans to sell. The arts Committee may accept or reject some or all of the work represented by the photographs which accompany the application. (If you have participated in this event in prior years additional photos are NOT required.)
• Please indicate if you need the photographs returned to you. Photographs will be returned the day of the event.
• No manufactured or kit objects will be considered or accepted.
• Application, Fee & Photographs must be received by April 25th, 2008. Artists whose applications are received after April 25th may not be included in the printed material provided for guests. (Names, websites & e-mail addresses are provided to visitors in a welcome booklet.)
• An application is a commitment & refunds will not be made for cancellations.
• An acceptance letter will be mailed to you and will be your pass to enter the Market for set-up.
• This event is RAIN or SHINE! Please come prepared.
• The Artist Market will be open from 10am until 5pm. Artists are expected to stay until 5pm.
• Artists are responsible for their own tent, tables, chairs, display materials, etc.
• Artist (or designate) must be in/around booth all day. Druid Hills Baptist Church will not be responsible for manning spaces while artists are away.
• Artists are responsible for securing their own tent, tables, chairs and materials so items do not blow over and/or damage other artist’s materials.
• Electricity will not be provided.
• Druid hills Baptist Church is not responsible for any damage, theft, injury, or weather incurred during the market.
• Artist signature on application denotes acceptance of the stated rules and affirms compliance therein.
• There will be no commission charged on the sale of artwork during the Market. Collection of 7% sales tax is the artist’s personal responsibility.
• Set up will begin at 8am. All should be ready to open no later than 9:45am.
• You will receive instructions for loading/unloading under separate cover no later than May 1st.
• Volunteers will be available at time of set up to direct artists to their assigned areas for unloading.
• Clean-up will be from 5pm to 6pm. Artists are expected to stay until 5pm.
