Spiritual Growth Group
The Spiritual Growth Group works with the church ministry team in developing ways to help our church grow closer to God and each other through such ministries as Sunday School, small groups, and the church media center. Specific church-wide opportunities for Bible study and discipleship are also an aspect of the group’s responsibility. If the church decides to conduct a church-wide retreat, this group will coordinate that working with the ministry team.
Fellowship Group
The Fellowship group provides opportunities for interaction among our church members for the purpose of fostering rich, nurturing relationships that promote a sense of well being and speak to us of God’s goodness.
Missions/Ministry Group
The Missions/Ministry Group works with the church staff and existing church missions organizations to educate our church regarding missions involvement and to directly involve our church in ministry endeavors locally and globally that enable us to fulfill the Great Commission to tell all of God’s love through Christ.
Outreach/Evangelism Group
The Outreach/Evangelism Group works with and supports the ministry team in leading the church to reach the unchurched and non-Christian population of our community.
Stewardship Group
The Stewardship Group works with the ministry team and Finance Committee to challenge the congregation to develop patterns of giving that reflect biblical attitudes towards money and possessions. This will include (but not be limited to!) a Fall stewardship emphasis to culminate in a Commitment Sunday.
